Gail and I went on vacation and no one pick the ball up.

We would have gladly picked up the ball...but we weren't aware that it had been dropped.

Perhaps we can all get together sometime before the summer is over...maybe just meet somewhere so it won't be too much trouble for anyone.

I know this is may sound weird, but the one nice thing about funerals and the like is it provides a time for people to come together when they might not have otherwise.

If that sounds too weird, than how about a good ole fashioned "gathering" of the board?
